DEARBORN (WKZO) -- Even before the vehicle hits showrooms, Ford Motor Company is lowering the price of the all-electric version of the Ford Focus.
The automaker had announced a price tag of 39,200-hundred dollars earlier this year, but decided to cut that price by four-thousand dollars. The move comes as other automakers cut their prices on EVs. Ford says with the federal credit of 7,500-dollars, a customer will now pay a net price of 27,700-dollars.
Nissan has seen sales of their Leaf EV go up after they reduced the price by 18-percent.
