LAWTON (WKZO) -- Acting on a tip, the Van Buren County Narcotics Unit raided a home in the 400 block of South Liberty St. in Lawton Tuesday afternoon, and as they were knocking on the front door,
25-year-old Les Miller was fleeing out the backdoor with deputies in hot pursuit. He didn’t get far before he was apprehended.
They found methamphetamines in his pockets and a working meth lab in the home, and all the ingredients and equipment to make more meth.
They also found two women, who may face charges for maintaining a meth lab later. Miller was arrested for being a parole absconder.
