KALAMAZOO (WKZO) -- A Kalamazoo man has been arraigned on a seven count warrant.  54-year-old Steven Michael McAllister faces six counts of possessing child sexually abusive material and another count of using a computer to commit a crime.

McAllister has been employed at Edison Elementary School in Kalamazoo as a custodian for the past twenty years.  The investigation has found no indication that there were any victims from Kalamazoo Public Schools.

Kalamazoo Public Safety Detectives were aided by the Michigan State Police's Internet Crimes Against Children Task Force in Rockford in their forensic examination of computers involved in the case.  McAllister is currently being in the Kalamazoo County Jail on 500,000-dollars bond.
