KALAMAZOO (WKZO) -- Kalamazoo Public Safety is investigating a stabbing in the Vine Neighborhood, and reportedly have a suspect in custody.

The assault occurred in the 600-block of Cedar Tuesday night at a house party.  Apparently, the victim was stabbed in the neck during a concert performance in the home.

Many of the attendees were not aware there had been a stabbing until police arrived.  The victim was treated at Bronson Hospital and is expected to recover.
