MARSHALL (WKZO) -- A Calhoun County Deputy is nursing his injuries after he was attacked by a pit bull during an early morning raid on a home to investigate reports of a meth lab.
They had gotten a tip that the occupant of the home in the 17-thousand block of 15-mile Road near Marshall may be manufacturing methamphetamine.
They obtained a warrant and executed it a little after 3 a.m. Wednesday morning. They found the suspected lab, a 48-year-old man, two women and a 3-year-old toddler who was removed by Child Protective Services.
An arrest warrant will be issued pending test results.
The Deputy was treated and released for the dog bite. The Press Release doesn’t say what happened to the dog.
