DECATUR (WKZO) -- A Decatur Police Officer responded to a domestic dispute on Bronson Street this morning, finding the involved parties walking away down the road.  When the officer confronted one man, the man threatened to open fire, pointing a gun at the officer.

The officer responded as he was trained and fired at the suspect, but missed.  The suspect hit the deck and dropped the pistol which turned out to be a B.B gun.

After a brief scuffle, the 23-year-old was cuffed and taken into custody.  No names have been released.
