LANSING (WKZO) -- Federally licensed firearms dealers in Michigan will be able to sell pistols under a bill which has passed the state Senate with bi-partisan support. Lawmakers say it's a "technical fix" to legislation passed a few years ago, which limited the ability of some dealers to sell certain weapons.
Two other gun bills are still pending before the Senate. One would exempt all Michigan-made ammunition and weapons from federal regulations if they stay in the state, while the other bill exempts gun registration and licensing information from the Freedom Of Information Act.
