GRAND RAPIDS (WKZO) -- Kent County Circuit Judge Paul Sullivan has rejected the motion by Kent County Prosecutor William Forsyth for a preliminary injunction to block the city's decriminalization of marijuana.
Voters approved making possession of pot a civil infraction in November, but Forsyth immediately went to court to try to block it. State Representative Brandon Dillon of Grand Rapids called the decision "a win for democracy in GR" in a post on Twitter.
Forsyth declined to comment on the ruling.
