STURGIS (WKZO) -- A white male walked into an Admiral Station in Sturgis armed with a knife Sunday Morning and demanded money from the clerk, who handed it over.

Investigators identified a suspect using information from previous arrest warrant investigations and had the employees at the Admiral identify him from photographs.  In executing a search warrant at the man's home, they say he attempted to flee, but after a short chase he was subdued with a taser and arrested.  They say some of the money was recovered and may be returned to the station after the case is finished.

The suspect is being held in the St. Joseph County Jail pending arraignment.
