KALAMAZOO (WKZO)-- A methamphetamine manufacturing and distribution operation has been raided and shut down on Douglas Avenue in Kalamazoo.

The COPS Division had developed information during a meth raid at a home on Lay Boulevard this week, that there may also be meth labs at a home in the 7000 block of Douglas Avenue in Cooper Township.

A raid Friday turned up a large anhydrous ammonia meth lab cooking away in the truck of a car in the driveway. They also found two smaller meth labs in the Garage, and finished meth, ready for sale in the home.

They also seized a small arsenal of loaded handguns, rifles, shotguns and an assault weapon and cash. Two brothers, aged 49 and 42 are expected to face manufacture, distribution and gun charges.
