LANSING (WKZO) – Following Wednesday night’s State of the State address, Gov. Rick Snyder had one clear message for legislators, “Let’s go!”
In his speech, the governor attributed economic achievements over the past year to Republican lawmakers working with Democrats to continue moving Michigan “in the right direction”.
During an interview with Michael Patrick Shiels on Michigan’s Big Show Thursday, Gov. Snyder explained the many initiatives he wants to get going in 2013, starting with repairing Michigan's roads and bridges.
While legislators on both sides of the aisle agree roads need immediate attention, the disagreement comes with how Michigan citizens will be footed the bill.
Listen above for the Governor’s explanation on how making changes to vehicle registration fees and the gas tax are the best solutions for resolving the current issues facing the state.
