LANSING (WKZO) -- The death toll in Michigan from that Fungal Meningitis outbreak has climbed to 15, with the just reported death of an 88-year old woman from Washtenaw County.
The total number in Michigan who have had medical issues so far and survived is 241, far more than any other state now.
Doctors and researchers at St. Joseph Mercy in Ann Arbor have been systematically screening all the patients who received steroid injections from a New England Compounding Pharmacy, because sometimes they can have problems that don’t cause symptoms, but can cause problems down the line.
