KALAMAZOO (WKZO) -- With Kalamazoo City Manager Ken collard set to retire next year, the city commission is close to deciding on which search firm they will use to find his successor. Commissioners held a special meeting Monday night to narrow their choices down to three, and those firms will be interviewed on February 4th. None of the firms are based in Michigan and the city will instead pick from Bob Murray & Associates of California, Colin Baenziger & Associates of Florida, and Strategic Government Resources of Texas.
