KENTWOOD (WKZO) -- Funeral services have been held this weekend for the Kentwood Couple who were killed a week ago in their own home, setting off a search for a burglar and a suspected double murderer.

Police Chief Tom Hillens says he has 10 detectives working around the clock to find the killer of David and Vivian Bouwman.

One person of interest in the case, Javonte Higgins is being sought because he is suspected of pulling off similar burglaries where he goes in thru a window and leaves in a stolen car. Higgins has been in trouble with the law since he was 14.

A silent observer reward fund in this case is up to 8700 dollars.
