KALAMAZOO (WKZO) – Western Michigan continues conference play at home this afternoon against the Ohio Bobcats. The Broncos are coming off of a 65-43 loss to Akron on the road.
This is the 122nd meeting between the Broncos and Bobcats. Western Michigan is 4-7 against Ohio under Steve Hawkins, but 4-1 under Hawkins and 40-17 all-time in games at University Arena.
The Broncos have played 10 of their last 14 games away from Kalamazoo, but own one of the best overall records in the MAC at 8-5. Brandon Pokley, Shayne Whittington and Darius Paul are all averaging 13 points per game at home this season, and Nate Hutcheson is averaging 10.3 points per game at University Arena.
