NORTON SHORES (WKZO) -- A Norton Shores man who initially claimed he tripped over his dog and and killed his baby son, has now apparently confessed that it was abuse that killed the boy.

Doctors found evidence of previous injuries, like healed ribs, that suggested the boy had suffered a pattern of abuse.  They also found new broken ribs.

Anthony Casnova now has apparently admitted that he squeezed the child to death.  He also reportedly admitted to shaking the infant and throwing him down on a bed.  He is charged with open murder and has been denied bond.
