CENTREVILLE (WKZO) -- The former Village Market grocery store building and the attached plaza in Centreville now belong to the city's Downtown Development Authority. The DDA bought the property for 75,000-dollars and plans to sell it to get it back on city tax rolls. The grocery store was the only full-service store in Centreville before it closed in 2011, and DDA chair Pattie Bender says it's in terrible condition.
