BERRIEN COUNTY (WKZO) -- The Berrien County judge involved in the case of a cussing truck driver has denied a motion from the ACLU that he recuse himself from the case.
The ACLU says Judge Dennis Wiley works everyday with the court clerks who will be testifying they heard Larue Ford utter a profanity while trying to get an old traffic citation paid. They say that should disqualify him and they plan to ask the Chief Judge to remove Wiley from the case.
Ford spent 12 days, including Christmas, in jail before the ACLU could get a higher court judge to lower her bail.
