KALAMAZOO (WKZO) -- Talks are underway between the Northwoods League and the City of Kalamazoo's Parks and Recreation Department to bring a team to Kalamazoo's Homer Stryker Field, perhaps by 2014.  There hasn’t been a team at the field since the Kalamazoo Kings folded in 2011.  The Northwoods League is a summer collegiate league with teams mostly in Wisconsin and Minnesota, but they also have a team in Battle Creek.
