BEMIDIJI, MN (WKZO) -- Western Michigan took second place in the Great Lakes Invitational last weekend beating Michigan State but falling to Michigan Tech in the finals.  It was the first time WMU had participated in the event since 1986.

The Broncos are back in action tonight as they travel to Bemidiji, Minnesota to take on Bemidiji State.  Western Michigan trails the overall series between the teams 3-2-1.
