GRAND RAPIDS (WKZO) -- 2012 is turning out to the be the warmest year on record in West Michigan. The National Weather Service says records were set in Grand Rapids, Muskegon and Lansing. The average temperature last year in Grand Rapids was 52.9-degrees. That broke a record for warmth set in 1921, when the average temperature for the year was 52.4-degrees.
