KALAMAZOO (WKZO) -- The Kalamazoo County Board of Commissioners will waste no time getting the New Year underway. They will meet for the first time Wednesday evening to elect a new Chair and Vice-Chair.
Members of the board are also expected to adopt temporary by-laws, which may need some tweaking, now that the board has dropped from 17 to eleven members. Nine of the eleven members are incumbents, and current Chair David Maturen and Vice-Chair David Buskirk both expect to be reelected to their positions.
The annual organizational meeting gets underway at 7 p.m.
