KALAMAZOO (WKZO) -- Over four-hundred supporters of immigration reform gathered at the St. Joseph Catholic Church on Lake Street in Kalamazoo Monday evening. The event, put together by the Michigan Organizing Project, was held as part of the "Citizenship Now" rally and bus tour.
Supporters called on Congressman Fred Upton to meet with the group to discuss immigration reform efforts, saying that he has yet to do so and that they would very much like to speak with him directly. The group is calling for a "path to citizenship" for the nation's eleven-million immigrants.
