LANSING (WKZO) -- The Michigan Economic Development Corporation will continue to include the state's new right-to-work law in its advertising. For now, however, mention of that new law will not be linked to the Pure Michigan ad campaign.
Mike Finney, president and CEO of the MEDC says that within the next two-weeks or so they'll make a determination about whether or not to include the Pure Michigan logo in future ads. Last week, the MEDC said that they'll stop running Pure Michigan ads that mention right-to-work while they consider opponents' concerns that those ads send the wrong message about the state.
Pure Michigan is getting ready to run 13-million dollars in cable advertising nationwide that will air from March through June.
