VAN BUREN COUNTY (WKZO) -- Van Buren County Sheriff's deputies investigating a possible marijuana grow operation made a big bust.
Investigating a pole barn in the 76000-block of 48th Avenue around 1:30 p.m. Wednesday afternoon, they watched as a white box van backed up to the barn and saw the driver make contact with another man inside. Inside, they found the interior was being remodeled and two rooms contained grow operations.
Investigators seized 27 marijuana plants in total, as well as several individual Ziploc bags, each containing about one-pound of processed marijuana. They seized scales, packaging materials, and paperwork, as well as the white van.
A 51-year-old man and a 28-year-old man, both from South Haven, were arrested, as was a 51-year-olld man from Coloma.
