LANSING (WKZO) -- State lawmakers have been tasked by Governor Snyder with coming up with 1.2-billion dollars to fix Michigan's roads, and the Majority Leader in the Senate says he feels he's got the right plan.

Snyder is calling for a 14-cent hike in gas taxes and a 60-percent increase in vehicle registration fees, but Senate Majority Leader Randy Richardville doesn't think that can pass.  He is instead pushing to increase the state sales tax from six to eight-percent, but added nothing is being taken off the table.
