KALAMAZOO (WKZO) -- The Kalamazoo Department of Public Safety and KVET officers executed a search warrant in the 500-block of Lawrence Street in Kalamazoo Wednesday.  Tips from concerned citizens indicated that drug trafficking had been taking place in the area.

A search turned up a large quantity of marijuana, what they suspect to be crack cocaine, an electronic scale, and packaging equipment.  Law enforcement also located a handgun.

A 21-year-old Kalamazoo man was arrested on charges of Possession with Intent To Deliver Marijuana and Felony Firearm.  He's currently lodged in the Kalamazoo County Jail.
