DETROIT (WKZO) -- Detroit's automakers continue to make progress in quality, according to the latest J.D. Power and Associates consumer rankings.
In the vehicle dependability study, Toyota and its Lexus division took hop honors. However, the RAM truck division of Chrysler Group shot up from second-to-last in the previous study to ninth place overall in the latest report.
Lincoln finished tied for third overall in the study while General Motors received high marks for the Buick Lucerne, Chevrolet Camaro, Chevrolet Tahoe and GMC Sierra HD. The J.D. Power survey tracks customer complaints per 100 vehicles purchased in 2010.
