The Portage City Council has Granted a 6 year local property tax break to Stryker Corporation for the 5.6-million dollar expansion of their Research and Development Facility on East Milham in Portage.

Stryker Attorney Carole Mendez says it will create 18-new jobs.Stryker officials say it will help them stay ahead of the competition in the development of new products.
