KALAMAZOO (WKZO) -- The Kalamazoo Historic Preservation Commission is seeking nominations for awards for preservation related projects in the city of Kalamazoo. Previously, awards have gone to ranging from the preservation of the Ladies Library Association building to the restoration of the neon sign at Paris Cleaners, among other things.
Projects nominated must be located in the city of Kalamazoo, maintain the historic character of a building or resource in the community, and have had most of its work completed in the last five years. The deadline for nominations is 5 p.m. on Monday, February 25th.
