KALAMAZOO (WKZO) --The Northside Ministerial Alliance has scheduled a Tuesday news conference to endorse efforts to pass gun control legislation that they say will protect responsible weapons owners and private citizens as well.

Dr. Michael T. Scott, Sr., president of the Northside Ministerial Alliance says “Most fatal and non-fatal shootings result from abuse and misuse of guns.” Faith leaders in the Kalamazoo community plan to step forward and urge lawmakers to take action to stem the tide of gun control.
