Kalamazoo, MI (WQLR) -- It's a big weekend for the WMU hockey team as they face-off with No. 3 Miami (OH) for first place in the CCHA standings. But the more important story is that this weekend's series marks the annual Hockey Cares Weekend.

The Bronco Hockey team will be supporting the cause both nights, including wearing their hockey cares jerseys on Saturday night. Fans are encouraged to wear lavender to the game on Saturday.
