GRAND RAPIDS (WKZO) -- Two men are in police custody in connection with the shooting death of Jason Cherry at his parents' home on the southeast side of Grand Rapids on December 29th.
Police say Tamaine Foster and Isiah Latham are likely to be arraigned today on open murder and other charges. The pair were being held on unrelated charges when officers connected them to Cherry's killing.
Investigators said they believe the murder was a botched robbery attempt.
