DETROIT (WKZO) -- Toyota is again on top of an annual consumer survey ranking U.S. customers' perceptions of various brands.  The poll, conducted by "Consumer Reports" magazine ranked the automakers on people's views of their quality, safety, value and other various factors.

Of the other carmakers, Ford, Honda, Chevrolet and Mercedes-Benz finished out the top five in the survey.  Of the top ten, all-electric car manufacturer Tesla was noted coming in at ninth place.  Among the bottom-finishers, another Toyota brand, the Scion division came in near to last.
