GRAND RAPIDS (WKZO) -- Michigan residents could be voting on whether or not to legalize gay marriage in the state in November 2014 if a Grand Rapids group succeeds in collecting enough signatures to put the measure on the ballot.
Marriage Michigan PAC is being led by gay men in Grand Rapids who say the time is right to bring marriage equality to the state. They're seeking 300-thousand signatures and ten-million dollars in funding to get the law changed.
Voters banned same-sex marriage in Michigan in 2004.
