LANSING (WKZO) -- There will be extra police patrols on the roads in 20 counties this weekend, all due to Super Bowl Sunday and the expected increase in drinking and partying that goes along with the NFL's title game.

The Michigan Office of Highway Safety Planning is coordinating the added patrols, which are being paid for by federal traffic safety money.  During Super Bowl Sunday last year, police arrested 166 people in the state for drunk driving, with 52 of them having a blood alcohol content of 0.17-percent or higher.

Super Bowl 47 between the San Francisco 49ers and Baltimore Ravens is set for 6:30 P.m. Sunday in New Orleans.
