PONTIAC (WKZO) -- More light is being shed on a plane crash at Oakland County International Airport that left four people dead.

According to a recently updated National Transportation Safety Board report, investigators did not find any major mechanical problems with the plane. Officials believe the plane took off with too much weight and with the flaps set for landing, which made it difficult for the plane to gain enough altitude or air speed.

The single-engine Cessna crashed shortly after takeoff June 21st killing the pilot, 19-year-old Troy Brothers, his mother, 53-year-old Sandra Haley, his stepfather, 58-year-old James Haley, and his cousin, 34-year-old Jamie Jose.
