KALAMAZOO (WKZO) -- Democratic US Senate candidate Gary Peters came to Kalamazoo this week and picked up some endorsements. Peters, who's running to replace Senator Carl Levin, stopped in Kalamazoo on Thursday. He went to the Fair Food Matters Can-Do Kitchen, among other places, to talk about small businesses, and during his visit, Peters was endorsed by Kalamazoo County Prosecutor Jeff Getting, Sheriff Richard Fuller, and Drain Commissioner Pat Crowley. According to MLive, Peters also visited Grand Rapids on Thursday. It looks like he'll be running for US Senate against Republican Terry Lynn Land, Michigan's former Secretary of State.
