KALAMAZOO (WKZO) -- The Independent Film Channel is teaming up with the Alamo Draft House to showcase independent movies. IFC and the Alamo Drafthouse movie theater chain made the announcement this week that they're working together nationally to present indie films of a common theme on certain days.
First, they choose the theme for the month, and then they show a movie related to it each week. For January, the theme is movies based off popular books, and the selections are The Last Temptation of Christ, Fight Club, Sense and Sensibility, and No Country for Old Men.
Everything kicks off on January first. You can find out more at IFC.com/SlighlyOffCinema .
