LANSING (WKZO) -- Governor Rick Snyder's approval rating is up. A new State of the State Survey by Michigan State University shows the governor's rating is just over 35-percent, which is the highest it's been since the summer of 2012.
The percentage of those surveyed who believe Snyder's performance is excellent or good was 35.6-percent, which is up from 29-percent from the spring. The survey also found that President Obama's approval rating dropped to its lowest point in three years in Michigan.
The survey was conducted by MSU's Institute of Public Policy and Social Research.
