UNDATED (WKZO) -- Gas prices have dropped like a stone since everyone came back from Thanksgiving.
There are some stations in the Grand Rapids area that have fallen below $3 for the first time since October of 2010.
Around Kalamazoo, we are within a nickel of slipping back over the $3 mark at some gas stations.
Gregg Laskowski at GasBuddy.com says it’s a trend he thinks will continue for now. There is less demand and 94% of Michigan’s refineries are functioning well.
He says pump prices will probably continue to drop right up until its time to hit the road for Christmas.
