KALAMAZOO (WKZO) -- The trial is underway for Fred Glespie, the 19-year-old charged wih failing to supervise three toddlers who died in the Interfaith Manor Fire last February.
He claims he was never asked to watch the kids on that day.
The Prosecution has called Jonetta Woods, the mother of the three infants and her sister to testifiy that she did ask Glespie to watch the kids while she ran to a friend’s apartment.
He is charged with three counts of involuntary manslaughter and four counts of child abuse in the second degree.
Testimony will continue today.
