KALAMAZOO (WKZO) -- Coming up on August 25th, it's the annual Harvest Dinner in Kalamazoo. The event brings together five top chefs from restaurants in the area to make meals solely out of locally grown ingredients.
Robb Hammond, head chef at the Food Dance Cafe, says it's a fine day for all, as many of the local crops people want to eat are harvested in the late summer.
The Harvest Dinner is for the benefit of Fair Food Matters, a group that promotes local access to high quality food. The event will be held at Carlson's Farm in Lawton, and tickets are 75 dollars. You can get them by calling 382-1888.
