KALAMAZOO (WKZO) -- More bids have been announced for seats on the Kalamazoo City Commission. Mayor Bobby Hopewell and Commissioner David Anderson announced their plans to seek re-election Friday afternoon.
Pastor E. Allen Hayes also announced in a press release Friday that he has filed to run for the City Commission, as well. Hayes already serves on the North-side Ministerial Alliance as the executive chairperson for membership, serves as a board member with the Kalamazoo transportation department, and works in the office of Democratic state Representative Sean McCann. Hayes is also Vice President for the Kalamazoo Lions Club.
