PORTAGE (WKZO) --The Portage Board of Education will meet Monday night to reboot their Superintendent search, now that their one and only candidate has bailed on them.
Brighton Supt. Greg Gary cited the wishes of his family, and a concerted campaign by the community for his decision to withdraw from the Portage search process.
Apparently the board plans to start over, because none of the other applicants seemed all that appealing.
It will begin in the community room at Portage Central High at 6:30, and this meeting will be open.
