KALAMAZOO (WKZO) -- A man who tried to outrun Kalamazoo Public Safety officers during a low speed chase is in custody after he was caught with 22-bindles of suspected Heroin.
Officers were staking out the corner of Willard and Greenwich Avenue when their 40-year-old suspect came peddling by on a bicycle.
He saw the officers giving chase in a police cruiser and made a run for it. The chase continued heading northbound, but he ran out of gas long before they did.
He was arrested for resisting and for possession of heroin with intent to deliver and booked in the Kalamazoo County Jail.
