KALAMAZOO (WKZO) -- The Kalamazoo Prosecutor’s office has bounced the Jonetta Woods investigation back to Public Safety.
Assistant Prosecutor Carrie Klein will only say that they need more information before they can make a decision on whether or not to proceed with charges. They aren’t saying what kind of information they are seeking.
Woods is the mother of four toddlers who were home alone when their townhouse at Interfaith Apartments caught fire. Three of them died.
Public Safety had requested three counts of 2nd Degree Child abuse, but apparently the Prosecutors weren’t convinced they had made their case.
