LANSING (WKZO) -- The Lansing Board of Water & Light says crews have removed most of the oil spilled into the Grand River Sunday night. It's estimated up to 500 gallons of oil got into the water when equipment at the BWL's power plant near downtown Lansing malfunctioned and overflowed the turbine hydraulic oil to spill. After deploying booms into the river, the utility used a vacuum truck as part of the cleanup efforts Wednesday.
