KALAMAZOO (WKZO) -- You can eat your words with an event set for Friday in downtown Kalamazoo. The Kalamazoo Book Arts Center is holding its eighth annual Edible Book Festival.
The Book Center's Jeff Abshear says that participants make books out of food items, and give them fun, punny names, like "The Grapes of Wrath" made out of actual grapes.
Entries will be accepted between four and six PM Friday, and they'll eat the books when it's all over. Abshear says the Edible Book Festival is always held sometime around April Fools.
