AUBURN HILLS (WKZO) -- Chrysler sales increased five-percent in March when compared with sales for the same month in 2012. It marks the 36th straight month the automaker posted year-over-year increases. March was the group's best individual sales month since December 2007.
Five vehicles set all-time sales records including Ram pickup truck posting a 25-percent year-over-year sales gain. Sales of Dodge vehicles increased by 15-percent. Jeep year-over-year sales were down by 13-percent but that was primarily due the Liberty production ending in August.
